Who I am:

First and foremost, I am a daughter of the King! Next to that, my most important role is mama to the two greatest blessings of my life, my sons, Jacob and Joshua. I am outgoing, joyful, and athletic. I love the challenge of learning new things, and I enjoy meeting new people. I love music, singing loudly, dancing, and being silly with my kids. My greatest desire is to see people grow in their faith through learning to study the Bible, discipleship, and mentoring relationships.

What I do:

I’m the Ministry Coordinator at Soma. In this role, I provide administrative and organizational support to the various ministries and leadership groups within Soma. You’ll see me taking out the trash, stocking the pantry, or chatting with guests, but I also get to assist with coordinating volunteer teams, the weekend worship experience, and special events. It’s a blessing to use the gifts the Lord has given me to serve Him every day alongside the Soma staff and pastoral team!

What I’ve done:

After deciding to follow Jesus in 2006, I taught elementary Sunday School for 15 years before coming to Soma, where I serve in many areas, including teaching SomaKids (2nd – 4th grade), volunteering with SomaYouth on Wednesday nights, serving with SomaHospitality, and mentoring. My previous work experience includes sales, facilitating sales training, and office administration. I love that I get to use the skills I have acquired over the years to teach and connect with people while also supporting Soma’s mission, both relationally and administratively.
