Rowen Herring

Who I am:

I enjoy playing drums for church, running with friends, playing the guitar, and aggravating my boss. I hope to one day make those my full-time profession. I also enjoy long walks with loved ones, cold plunges, reading my Bible, and learning valuable skills.

What I do:

I work in the administration side of ministry, which means I do a lot of things. I help manage our financial/bookkeeping. I also manage the weekend preparation, ensuring all the technical needs are accomplished. And lastly, I build any and all required furniture around the campus. If you see it, I probably put it together!

What I’ve done:

I grew up serving at Sōma in various ways, primarily in worship. I am working towards an Associate in Business from TJC and have taken many business/financial courses. I work part-time at The Mentoring Alliance as the Assistant Site Director at Dixie Elementary, which means I get paid to play with kids all day!
