1.What promises did God make to Abraham? Did God fulfill these
promises right away? What promise were the Israelites waiting on in the wilderness? How do we know God hadn’t forgotten this promise?
Takeaway: God never forgets to keep his promises.
2. What were the two reports from the spies? Since all the spies
saw the same thing, why do you think some of the spies were afraid and Joshua and Caleb weren’t?
Takeaway: Don’t be afraid to do the hard things God calls us to do.
3. Where did God promise to bring the Israelites? Where has God
promised to bring those who believe in Jesus? If we believe in Jesus, can anything stop us from getting there?
Takeaway: Jesus will bring us safely into the promised land of heaven.
