The Good Shepherd
“Then Jesus told them this parable: “Suppose one of you has a hundred sheep and loses one of them. Doesn’t he leave the ninety-nine in the open country and go after the lost sheep until he finds it?” Luke 15: 3-4
1. What is a parable?
2. Parable means a simple story used to illustrate a moral or spiritual lesson! When Jesus is talking to the Pharisees about the one lost sheep, what was he trying to tell them?
3. Do you have a friend who is a lost sheep? Do you know someone who doesn’t have a relationship with Jesus? Take some time to pray for them!
FAMILY CHALLENGE: Make a list of 3 people who you will commit to praying for, as a family, for the whole month of July!! Each day say a prayer for their salvation and that their heart would turn to Jesus!!
